The annual and monthly comparisons differ

For ten users, the annualized license difference is $480 a year: $2,400 for RingEX Core versus $1,920 for Zoom Phone. On the listed monthly terms, the difference is $120 a month. Keep those two calculations separate; annual and monthly offers involve different commitments.

If the team needs RingEX Advanced, its published annual reference becomes $25 per user. If the team needs longer Zoom meetings, the Pro Plus bundle lists $20.50 per user annually. Comparing RingEX Core against a Zoom bundle, or vice versa, is reasonable only when the added functionality is explicit.

What “integration included” still leaves to test

A supported application name does not describe the entire workflow. Test whether the integration logs calls, identifies the correct contact, supports the needed user permissions and works in the edition of the CRM you already own. Additional CRM licensing can sit outside the telephone bill.

Zoom’s recording inclusion is useful, but storage, retention and recording policy still need configuration. RingCentral’s tiered approach can also be appropriate if the Advanced capabilities justify the extra subscription. Demonstrate the feature in the proposed edition before approving a rollout.

Choose the plan around the working day

Choose Zoom Phone when the business mainly needs domestic calling in Zoom and the Basic meeting limit is acceptable or already addressed by another license. Choose RingEX when its particular call-management and integration package fits the team. If both perform the required tasks, use the complete term cost, including setup and equipment, to decide.

Questions to ask before you buy

  • Do we need meetings longer than 40 minutes on Zoom’s bundled Basic plan?
  • Which CRM must log calls automatically, and in which edition?
  • How many fax pages do we send each month?
  • Which international destinations do we call, and at what rates?

What Hawaiʻi businesses should check

Both are cloud services, so your office internet and Wi-Fi determine call quality in Hawaiʻi. Test calls from the office and from staff mobile phones before porting your main number.

Not in the Workplace Basic bundle compared here. The product page lists a 40-minute meeting limit.

Is international calling unlimited?
